You won’t be able to put down the story of Elaine’s struggles in the familiar world most of us know – troubles, daily grind, dysfunctional family – and then more in her case as there are family secrets she is forced to divulge.  The author uniquely introduces her characters and is able to give each depth and originality.  Again (as in her other books) without overwhelming the reader there is the underlining message that is the hallmark of Faith Inspired Books.

A very fast moving read where you are sucked in totally and visually see the story unfold as you read each line. Sue is a writer that has that rare gift where her characters come to life. You become involved with the characters and you actually begin to root for Elaine with the hope that the ending is positive. I could not put the book down. I read it in two days --- and truly talked about it for another ten days. I will be presenting this book to almost everyone on my holiday shopping list as a gift. I can see this book as a motion picture and a play for sure. I can also see Julia Roberts as Elaine and Tim McGraw as Alec in the two lead parts. Joining the Club is by far the club in which we all want to be an active member!
